Stage Manager
We are seeking a Stage Manager for our upcoming performances. The right candidate should be: well organized, able to multi-task, responsible and reliable and be able to communicate clearly and easily. 
Responsibilities:
  • Manage all rehearsal and performance schedules.
  • Communicate with Tech Director on headset during performances.
  • Keep show running smoothly and troubleshoot if problem arises.
  • Call lighting cues, if needed.
Qualifications:
  • Excellent verbal communication skills.
  • Strong ability to multi-task while remaining calm.
  • Able to learn and operate headset equipment.
  • Strong time management skills.
  • Ability to work both independently and with a large/diverse team.
Additional Details:
Must be available for Tech/Dress Rehearsal and Performance day. This is a paid position - rate commensurate with experience.

Picture
Videographer
We are looking for a videographer to record our future Performances.
Responsibilities:
  • Record two performances on show day in HD quality video.
  • Edit video files (if needed).
  • Provide individual digital video files of all dance pieces.
  • Create professional DVD featuring dance pieces, photographs, and additional artwork.
  • Create 50+ copies of the DVD to be distributed to company members (Negotiable).
Qualifications:
  • Experience in operating professional video/camera equipment, including audio hook-ups.
  • Understanding of theater and/or dance performance space and lighting and the needs and challenges associated with recording such events.
  • Ability to work quickly and independently. 
  • Strong communication skills.
Additional Details:
Videographer must be able to supply all requested materials within two weeks of the event. Payment is issued upon receipt and review of requested materials. Send resume and/or video samples and rates to info@onstagedanceco.com
Marketing/Fundraising Intern
We are seeking Marketing and Fundraising Interns to join our staff. The right candidate should be: well organized, able to multi-task, responsible and reliable, able to communicate clearly and easily and have very strong writing skills. We are especially looking for someone who has new and creative ideas related to marketing and/or fundraising as well as a passion for the arts. 
Responsibilities:
  • Communicate with company members, donors, vendors, media outlets and other community members in person, over the phone and through email.
  • Create and maintain spreadsheets and documents related to Marketing and/or Fundraising initiatives.
  • Create and post content for our website, Facebook page, Twitter and other platforms to raise interest and awareness about our company.
  • Write press releases and other promotional copy.
  • Assist during company events, fundraisers and performances
Qualifications:
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, Excel and Google Docs.
  • Strong time management skills.
  • Ability to work both independently and with a large/diverse team
Additional Details:
Minimum 10 hours/week, flexible hours (in our studio in Somerville as well as remotely from home, with scheduled check in meetings). This is an un-paid internship, however college credit is available as well as discounts on classes, workshops and studio space.
Start and end dates are flexible.
